I was born in Brazil and built my life and career in the United States. Starting from scratch in a new country forced me to quickly understand how financial systems work, including insurance. I learned that many people renew their policies without analyzing their options, either out of habit or because they think change is complicated.

Blue Haven was created based on a simple belief: one option is never enough. As an independent agency, we work with multiple insurers, compare prices, carefully review coverage details, and check each company's reputation and claims performance before making a recommendation.

Insurance isn't just about finding the lowest price. It's about understanding what you're paying for, how the coverage actually works, and whether the insurer will support you when you need it.

I have an MBA and experience in finance and risk management. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so my clients can make informed decisions without language barriers or confusion.

Today, I divide my time between Charleston, South Carolina, and Tampa, Florida, with my husband and our miniature Labrador, Pipoca (Portuguese for Popcorn).
